Post University Scholarship Programs

Post University, founded in 1890, has a long history of innovation in higher education. The Post University Scholarship Programs are just another example of our ability to innovate and our commitment to Each Student, Every Day. This site is intended to help you better understand the scholarship program and the admissions and scholarship process.

Scholarships

Students that qualify for one of the scholarships listed below may also qualify for additional financial awards.

2009 Trustee Scholarship

Annual scholarship award:
This academic achievement based scholarship award is $10,000 per year. To be eligible a student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a 1650 SAT or 24 ACT score. This is a renewable scholarship.

2009 Presidential Scholarship

Annual scholarship award:
The Presidential Scholarship is an academic achievement based award of $8,000 per year. To be considered a student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and a 1500 SAT or 22 ACT score. This is a renewable scholarship.

2009 Post Scholarship

Annual scholarship award:
The Post Scholarship is an achievement based award of $6,000 per year that is awarded for academic achievement and leadership qualities demonstrated through participation in various service organizations. The scholarship will be awarded to students who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a 1350 SAT or 20 ACT score. This is a renewable scholarship.

*All awards are renewable for four years contingent upon maintaining a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

Application Requirements

Post University treats all students as honest adults and will make scholarship decisions based on the information you provide on this website as well as a letter of recommendation and interview. However, before a scholarship is disbursed, you will be asked to submit an application for admission and official records to the Admissions Office. Your personal admissions representative will guide you through the scholarship and admissions process.

  • Submit an application for admission. A complete application consists of: the application form, $40 application fee, official transcripts, results of the SAT or ACT, one letter of recommendation.

Admissions / Award Process

Once your application is complete, the Admissions Committee will notify you of their decision. If you are accepted, you will also be notified if you qualify for an academic award. You may also qualify for additional institutional, state, or federal aid. We encourage you to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It is recommended that you file the FAFSA no later than February 15, of the year you choose to enroll. The Post University FAFSA code is 001401. Final award acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of the enrollment process. Upon notification of scholarship award and acceptance of your application for admission, you will need to confirm your commitment to attend by submitting you enrollment deposit
